The Kershaw Shallot is the newest and largest addition to the Ken Onion designed line of assisted open pocket/tactical knives.

The Kershaw Black Shallot 1840CKTST is fitted with a fine Sandvik 13C26 stainless steel, 3 1/2'', part serrated, recurve blade w/ Tungsten coating. The Kershaw Shallot combines the fast action opening of the Speed Assist Open system with a thin profile.

The Kershaw Shallot 1840CKTST is 4 3/8'' closed, and keeps the very best design features of the Chive-Leek-Scallion series. The 410 stainless steel handle, also Black Tungsten coated, incorporates a positive framelock to prevent accidential closeing of the razor sharp blade during use.

The rear handle has a reversible/removeable Tungsten coated stainless steel pocket clip providing the carrier with tip-up or tip-down carry options. There is also a lanyard hole provided.

A top quality pocket knife that opens as fast as any switch blade yet legal under the US Federal Switchblade laws.
