Kabar USA Made Knives

The Kabar name dates to 1923 when Union Cutlery Company received a letter from a Trapper bragging about how he had used his Union knife to Kil A Bar. Union Cutlery adapted the phrase and its trademark and in 1952 Karbar Cutlery Inc. became the official company name to match the trademark they were so well known for.

Kabar knives are still made in Orlean, New York USA.

Currently Kabar produces knives of top quality for many different field uses. The Kabar Military Fighting knife remains the most famous knife in their line.
